Switcher mortgages are back!! KBC have launched a switcher that allows you to move your mortgage with the legal fees covered* by KBC for the transfer. You can avail of any of their new business rates and if you open a current account with them you’ll get a further 0.20% of ANY interest rate for the life of the mortgage.
The conditions to qualify are:
- Loan to Value (mortgage against the value of the property) can not exceed 80%
- No debt refinance (cannot be used to clear short term loans e.g. car loans, credit cards etc)
- *€1k is the max amount that will be paid towards your legal fees to switch
- First year free home insurance
- Only available on residential mortgages
- Expiry date to switch is 31st December 2014
- Lending criteria terms and conditions apply
- Security and insurance are required
- Claw back of legal fees if mortgage is redeemed within 3 years from draw down
